My 2023 RX door mirrors don't have the usual small gap around the edge of the mirror so I can't use towing mirrors that use the gap to clamp on. Anyone have some advice on an alternative mounting mirror other than the suction type?

Thanks, Alex.

I have never used clamp on mirrors - find they are not rigid enough. I have a pair that use strong rubber straps that go round the body of the car mirrors, one end is permanently attached to the towing mirror, the other end is attached to the other side of the towing mirror after stretching the strap quite tight. The strap is fully adjustable for any size mirror, and mine have now done a Toyota Camry, lex 400h, and now the 450h, and are probably nearly 15 years old. From a google search they are Ring Towing Mirror (Twin Pack)

If you angle the mirrors down a gap appears at the top of the wing mirror wide enough to slot the mirrors in

Im using a later more sturdy version of these, there fine.

The main issue is the Lexus mirror housing itself, relatively flimsy to other manufacturers, it vibrates easily with any towing mirror's attached.
