Is everything in Japanese though? Thats one thing that would worry me, japanese switches, screens, etc.

I’ve got used to mine, every time I start it a nice Japanese lady tells me about my ETC (Electronic Toll Card), I listen to radio 2 as it’s the only FM station I can receive and resetting the clock to BST took 30 minutes. 😀

In my ISF all mechanical buttons are in English, around 50% menu is in English (the most important functions at least). Radio frequency up to 90.00MHz but there are quite cheap expanders for like £30-£50 and Im going to try one. 
I know zero Japanese and it took me 20 seconds to connect Iphone via Bluetooth so it is not as bad as people are afraid of.

Can also use Google lens to translate. Then you get used to recognising what the menu is.

Also you can unplug your ETC.

As with the radio frequency expander, I'm sure we can use a kmph to mph converter if we know the speedo signal wire from the ecu.

Car has been faultless, really enjoying the ownership experience. Been across the Germany with friends for the N24 and it did not miss a beat (see photo). I have installed the RR racing ECU tune which removed the Japanese limiter and a set of conti sport contact 7s which are great.

How have you found the tune?  Did you get any mapping done or was it just the delimit?

Yes, meant to ask the same as I'm looking into a tune to get the best out of engine & gearbox.

Yes, the engine feels much more responsive now with better linear power and torque throughout.

They really did well, those pics do magnify all the right curves and lines of the car. The plan is to be in this place next year!
