Adaptive Variable Suspension?

I test drove a RX L 450h, which I found out later has AVS. I have since found out that the L is not suitable for a tow bar so have decided on a standard RX450h The salesman omitted to mention this although I mentioned I needed to fit a towbar). Is it worth seeking out a car with AVS? My priority i ride comfort, does AVS make much difference to this? I'd appreciate any feedback.

Opinions vary but I found the AVS so useful on my RX450h that it was a must have for me when I changed to the NX450h.

When in sports mode, sports+ or custom (if selected) it reduces body roll on twisty lanes and to some extent roundabouts (at normal speeds). I find that it also improves the ride on some roads by controlling the damping to make the ride less “jiggily”

Got it on my rx450h 2021 and it's so comfortable ,,go for it

Mine has AVS and I have it on full stiff for towing, works nicely 👍

I believe it's mainly designed to reduce body roll rather than for comfort, don't expect a magic carpet ride like a Citroen DS.
