Hi all,

I'm having a small but very annoying problem with my GS300h. I'm based in the UK. There are a couple of elongated roundabouts near my home which require me to reduce right steering input then increase it while indicating left to exit. The steering wheel does not pass 0 degrees but nonetheless when I add right steering input the indicator will self cancel.

I've had the suspension aligned and the car tracks straight with the steering wheel straight on a flat road. Nonetheless this behaviour makes me think that the steering angle calibration may be out.

Is this behaviour that others recognise as being normal? If not has anybody tackled this issue before? I have Techstream but I'm not sure where to start with this one.

I think this has nothing to do with steering calibration etc. If you're indicating left and turn the wheel clockwise by more than a few degrees the indicators will cancel (and vice versa)

It's a mechanical function and not a fault. Just hold on to the stalk or flick it down again.

In light of your post I checked mine today on a roundabout, and can confirm that the indicators cancelled with very little steering shift in the opposite direction, and certainly well before 0 degrees. So it would seem yours are performing normally.

Do you use the 3 flash function or you can increase it to 5 that would aleviate the problem

i always use the 3 flash on roundabouts or mororway exits
