Hi folks,

I'm looking to tap into the anti glare rear-view mirror on my IS200 (Toyota 5 pin connector), but when ordering from dongar they eventually cancelled the order and refunded because they're unsure on the wiring.

Looking at it, we've got a black, red, brown and white/black cable.  The easiest guess is red = postive, black = negative, but is there any actual wiring diagram out there or something I can point dongar at to say "This is what it needs to be?"

Though if there's any UK based services that offer the same adapters I'd happily go there instead to save US shipping cost

Cheers

No!

Toyota use white with a black strip for ground.

Black is 12v ignition switched feed, Red is +ve electrochromatic and orange is -ve electrochromatic - these feed the door mirrors.

Thanks, Colin!

Just anticipating dongar asking for something online to confirm that - I don't suppose you know of a wiring guide online off the top of your head? I spent a good while last night looking with no joy

All the best
