Installing aftermarket front camera

Hello, I have a Lexus rx450h 2014 which has the reversing camera and side camera in the offside wing mirror. Where I park at home needs to be tight to the fence so ideally I could do with a front camera I can turn on to see where the end of the car is. Has anyone done anything like this before or has an ideas please? Thanks in advance for any help

Can't you use the parking sensors? These will give a good indicator as to how close you are.

Thanks for your reply, they give me a rough idea yes, I would feel much better being able to see the fence.

If you always park in the same spot, in the same orientation (front in) how about placing chocks /blocks etc the desired distance from the fence so you can just roll forward until the tyres stop you?

I bought one from amazon about 6 months ago.I can't get the link to the amazon page to work at the moment.Search for Autovox RVS solar wireless camera about £139.The one I bought fits onto the bottom of my front number plate holder and has a small solar panel to keep the Battery topped up..I haven't recharged mine since I fitted it.The camera connects wirelessly to a small screen in the car about the size of an old fashioned tom tom.That does need power..I use the supplied cigarette lighter plug to plug in and liven the screen/ monitor when I need picture at front. Very useful to prevent scuffing the low front spoiler lip on raised kerbs which don't get picked up by parking sensors I have the screen fitted on a phone holder on the centre vent slats.
