The moment my 2018 GS reached 20,000 mile I got a message on the small screen on the dashboard saying "Oil Maintenance Required" and now every time I turn the vehicle on I get the same message on the screen. I have only had the vehicle nine months and the service book confirms that it was serviced before I picked it up from the Lexus dealer.

I have gone into the big screen and Settings / Vehicle / Maintenance and put in a "reminder" date and mileage for later than when the next service is due for both "Oil" and "Service" but still I get the message on startup. How do I remove it, as the car is telling me more than enough each time I turn it on?

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like the dealership that did the service forgot to reset the service reminder. Maybe just pop into the (or any) dealership and get them to plugin their Techstream and reset it to the correct timescale?

How many miles have you done since you purchased the car 9 months ago? Service interval is 12 months or 10k miles, whichever comes sooner. If you have done less than 10k miles then it likely wasn't reset at the last service but if 10k miles or more then the car is correct and a service is due to (regardless of the time since the last service).
