Being trying to find out if you buy the NX350H with Lexus Link Pro does it last for the life of the car, my dealer says it does but with my Honda you only got it free for the first year.
in the brochure it says that it is free for the first 4 years.

please see attached.

So really the extra that you are paying for with the Lexus Link Pro is that you are getting the bigger screen and the embedded hybrid navigation.

Essentially yes. The screen is high resolution as well as larger and the CPU is also faster so the system is a little smoother.

The system itself works for the lifetime of the vehicle, the connected services subscription needs to be paid for after the initial 4 years subscription has ended (if wanted).

Does anyone know at what cost? And how you actually go about it?

Lexus Link is different to the main connected services in that Lexus Link lasts for 10 years.

No one knows the cost because no series II NX is 4 years old and needs a paid for subscription. Even if you were to get a price from Lexus CS, you don't know what it would be in 4 years time.

However for my UX, the paid for subscription which gives me map updates and connected services is £120 per year - there isn't much functionality on the UX so the cost for the NX subscription might be more. Personally I don't pay this - use the much more superior apple Maps/Google Maps/Waze via CarPlay.

You purchase subscriptions via the my Lexus website in the e-store.

So the brochure says free for the first 4 years and the website says 10 years.

The website says connected services is included for 10 years, but I suspect the mapping is maybe for 4 Years

Lexus Link App which allows remote car status, location, drive coaching etc. lasts for 10 years. Lexus Link Connect and Lexus Link Pro Multimedia map updates and online services is separate and lasts for 3 years on many Lexus vehicles, but 4 years on latest NX and RX.
