The elasticated net which clips onto the carpet on the passenger side has become all saggy and I wonder if anyone has ever sourced a replacement? 

Do lexus still do them? Are the dealer only?

I have noticed these net pockets on several makes of sports cars - anybody knows if there is an original use for them?

They were designed to be used to secure small lightweight items,such as maps etc.,from blowing around or being sucked out of an open topped car.

Nowadays it could be used for a phone or a packet of Rothmans.
