Aircon blowing only cold air on one side when ac turned on

Recommended Posts

Dear All,

I am new to this forum and own 2017 Lexus IS300h at 68k miles on the clock. My air con has started blowing cold air on passenger side and hot air on the driver side.

Can someone please help me with this issue or any suggestions on where to fix it.

Thanks.

Assuming it's been servuced by a Lexus main dealer within the last 12 months / 10k miles (whichever is sooner) then it's under the Relax extended warranty still and so best to take it to Lexus to investigate.

Thanks wharfhouse for your suggestion. Did serviced from Lexus but i believe already driven more than 10k, so dont think my warranty will be valid. booked for full service at lexus tomorrow. Going to see a local garage today to find out the issue. Will update here soon.

OK - that's a shame if you've done more than the 10K miles as it sounds like it should be something covered by Relax. Hope you get to the bottom of the problem and it can be fixed without too much cost.

Why don't you do service with Lexus tomorrow and then comeback to them say a week later under warranty?

Well just came back from local garage. Turned out to be low gas pressure. Didn’t find any leaks. Re-gases(£70) and working like new. Finger crossed and hopefully wont give any more trouble. Also booked at lexus for full service next week. Thanks to all of you who commented and suggested. Thanks a lot.

Always a relief when it turns out to be a simple job.
