The last time I left the Celsior in the garage for 3 weeks during a holiday I came back to a flat Battery, called the AA out to be told it was shot and I needed a new one.

They take details of the Battery I would assume because if you call them again for the same problem having not replaced the Battery they may refuse service or charge you.

I left it a few weeks after giving the Battery a full charge but when cleaning the car a couple of days ago it only just started afterwards ( doors open so interior lights on) so I ordered a new one.

Battery arrived the next day and left in porch but spot the obvious mistake…on opening the packaging the matting material was soaked presumably with electrolyte from the vent.

Cannot check levels or top up as a sealed for life Battery.

Now awaiting a response from the vendor and thanks DHL.

you should have paid a 🤑few dollars more and bought a properly stored and fitted one from the Toyota spares Dept maybe 🤫

I’ve had a few sealed for life batteries that have a cover that when popped off give access to Battery cells for topping up.  Kind of besides the point mind you, would expect DHL to do better.
