I am considering a 20017 67 plate RC 200t. Could someone confirm that it is a petrol only car with a traditional auto box rather than a CVT equivalent?

Yes, it has a traditional petrol engine (4cyl, turbocharged) and a conventional )8-speed) auto gearbox.

I'll leave the pros & cons for actual owners to answer.

Had this for 2 years, excellent cruiser with sports capabilities. Paddle shift 8 speed aisin box and 2.0 liter twinscroll engine. Fsport in this one means adaptive suspension and gforce measuring for correct downshifts. So Sport+ mode does change car behaviour massive unlike on hybrid version. Staggered 19” alloys look good, oversize brakes however are expensive to buy and there are no equivalent on the market, 356mm front discs cost £500, there is noticeable turbo lag. Opening bonnet there is massive empty space at the front pointing towards missing 4 cylinders, meaning you wish that RCF and not a 4 pot. 33mpg real word consumption. Loved the car though in red pearl, best looking car on the company’s carpark real head turner
