Whats the experience Of members using Chris Knott Insurance

not used them very recently BUT I found them very very on-the-ball, most helpful and good prices on all sorts of insurances

I first started using them in the late 80's when I lived in Benenden ,,,,,,  most helpful and professional people

Used them for years

Since 2012 to be exact. Also had 2 claims with them and all were handled extremely well with no hassle

Current car is insured with them also

I also use them for both car and house insurance. Always a friendly voice.

I've not used them,but do use A Plan and have done so for about 20 years,both for cars and house contents and buildings.Recommended.

They are quite awful. 

Very easy to talk to and then go through with it but there have been some shocking issues on other forums about policies being cancelled out of the blue for BS reasons etc

I have just signed up with them after Admiral tried to charge me an extra £300 compared to my policy last year!

So far, so good.  Quick and helpful on the phone and very easy to deal with.  I basically sent them a screenshot of my cheapest quote and they beat it by £20.

For £35 they also do excess cover, so effective my excess has gone from £450 to £0 and the overall price is still lower than I paid last year.

Hopefully I won't have to find out how good they are at claim handling!

They do claim to offer Members of Car Clubs a special rate.
But they  don’t appear to list the LOC in their extensive Car Club list.

Might be worth checking if you’re going for a quote.

AF quite abysmal in my personal experience 

out of 10 CK is 10stars plus 

AF is minus minus minus totally every star in the universe
