New member Is300H F sport

Hello,

New member here, picked up my IS300H F Sport in Ultra blue a week ago.   I've found these forums very useful during the last 4-5 months while considering  my first Lexus purchase, much appreciated! 🙂

Love the car so far, however sent it back to the dealer over a couple of very minor issues this week.... they offered to collect from my location.  During the journey my car was rear-ended, was definitely a very low speed impact, photos show very minor cosmetic damage to the rear bumper and valence.  The Lexus dealer is replacing the bumper.  Is there anything else I need to insist on? I trust them to do a good job but am very picky and this was a mint condition car.  I'm minded to insist on a hybrid health check to ensure nothing has gone astray with the boot moutned batteries for example. I had front and rear mounted dash cams installed as part of thr purchase and will get the footage from those too.  Any suggestions on things to check would be welcomed 🙂

Hello Neil and welcome to the best Lexus forum there is and to is300h ownership. Your car looks stunning in that colour. I've had two and the second one was just brilliant. 

Re the damage to the rear of your car. I'd not worry about the traction Battery because you stated the impact was at a slow speed. I think it's fantastic that the dealer is going to replace the bumper. You could however ask the dealer and state your inexperienced concern that they do indeed do a hybrid health check for your piece of mind.

Enjoy your car when you get it back. They're a great car. I never got under 50 mpg in mine and I drove it hard at times.
