Hi all, I've had my GS450H for a few months now and find it an excellent drive!  I have just started noticing that when the car has been left on the drive for more than a day it stinks of petrol on start up and there is a trail of fluid left on the drive and road when I drive off, it doesn't seem to do it when the car is used daily, although it may still be there.

Does anyone have any clues or ideas of what I should be looking for?  I am quite mechanically minded so getting stuck in is not a problem just wondered if anyone had experienced this.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Hi again, just had a look under the car whilst it was started, the fuel is dripping from somewhere under the drivers seat and not from the engine bay, unfortunately I have just had surgery on mu shoulder so I am unable to get under the car properly.

Any ideas what this could be, is this the main fuel pipe leaking? It only leaks while the car is running.

Is it petrol or could it be condensate from your air conditioning?Surely a petrol leak would occur further back towards the fuel tank.

Maybe something to do with the new Lexus recall re piping for fuel? Or have you had the new recall fix done already?

Hi all, found the leak, it was a clip that had been overtightened and was dripping when the car was started and the fuel system primed, simple fix but difficult to find.
