2015 Lexus CT200h internal condensation

Wondering if anyone has dealt with interior condensation on the windows in a Lexus CT200h.  It’s random but some mornings I go out to the car and the interior windows are soaked with condensation.  No leaks when it rains but also the rear seat floor is moist.  Any ideas? Wondering if it has something to do with heat from the Battery

I suspect you must have a leak somewhere, condensation may cause some slight dampness but not moist floor as you describe. Heat from the Battery would only help dry things out and would not be a cause of dampness.

I haven't had it quite that bad (no wet floor) but for months I had really bad condensation from where I'd washed my rubber mats and forgot to dry them, so the water ended up 'in the air'. No matter how much I drove with the windows down, I couldn't stop the condensation forming next time I got in the car. In the end I realised the solution was to make sure the aircon was always running in 'flow mode' (not the recirculation mode), so the aircon would naturally remove the moisture from the air. It took a few months but it worked, so hopefully that helps.

Never turn off air-condition. In summer for obvious reasons, but many do not know that in winter it is far more needed in colder countries. Also, when aircon is on all parts of it are kept lubricated and will last much longer if not forever. Never had condensation inside the car. In cold countries cars without air-condition are close to impossible to keep dry in winter. I lived in one before moving to where we have 20 degrees Celsius at night.

Totally agree. I never turn it off, I just used to have it recirculating to be more efficient, but that prevents moisture being removed from the air.

I posted a YT video on the CT200 forum a while back form someone who also had moist problems. Might be worth checking out if your car has that leakage problem also. https://www.ct200hforum.com/threads/new-member-with-2012-car-and-bizarre-and-scary-electrical-problem.150176/#post-1812933

If you always recirculate the air the windshield will need to be cleaned more frequently than if you let fresh air in.

I've been having the exact same problem.  No rain, no spills, no leaks, but every morning since the weather got cold about a week ago, the interior of my windshield is WET - not icy stuff, not fog just condensation water, while the backseat floor is soaked as well causing the car to smell awful.  I left a dry sock in the backseat floor and the next morning it was soaking wet.  There isn't water everywhere, just the windshield and the back floorboard.  I keep seeing where it seems that people think it has to do with sunroof drains being clogged.  I am going to try that out.  I've had the car for a year and it didn't do this last year and I've never had this problem on any car before.

I have dealt with this lately.  I don't think the other comments understand it is not from a leak.  It is water standing on the interior of the windshield....nothing to do with a leak.  Then, on the back floor carpeting, it is soaked.  Again, no leak.  It's just from very cold mornings.  I'm not sure what the cause is, but it's driving me crazy.  It's so weird that it's these two places only; if it were a leak, the water would be visible in other spots and it happens on days when there has been no precipitation.

If your back floor carpet is soaking it's a fair bet the water is coming in from under the rear door cards, Take the door cards off the side it's wet at and check the plastic seal and make sure the door drains are clear. My father once had a car and couldn't understand why rust was half way up his door, the drains were blocked, once unblocked you should have seen the door emptying.

You didn't say if your car has a sun roof, I've had a car before and in the mornings the inside on the wind screen would be dripping and in some cases it would be frozen. It is evaporated water what condenses on the cold glass like in a house, if you have that then you definitely have water ingress somewhere, have you had your spare wheel out yet and checked, check if any water in the Battery area, right hand corner.
