Display compatibility IS250 / IS250D

Hi the display has failed on my  2006 IS250 I replaced just the screen about a year ago with eBay pattern screen but this didn't work.

Now I am thinking about changing the whole assembly (cd,amp, heating control, screen)

Does anyone know if a diesel screen/assembly unit will be compatible with petrol one.

Are you on about the maps screen, then yes will fit.

As long as they are the same e.g. with ML or without ML, and generally should be similar year (there are specific ranges like 2005-2009)... So whenever it is diesel or petrol doesn't really matter, but there are still quite a few different versions of the unit and you need to make sure you get the same one as yours. Easiest way I guess would be to remove yours, check the part numbers and search for those particular ones.

Even better - get android unit, it will cost less money and it is 100 times better. If mine would fail that is what I would do.

+1 ~£230 gets you a very good spec android unit with CarPlay. All steering wheel buttons and climate settings are incorporated
