Hi guys

On a GS300, has anyone else had any trouble undoing the bolt that holds the centre cap on the wheel - the one that you need to remove to get at the wheel nuts?

My little plastic tool has become all mashed up - 3 of the bolts came out, but the last one (always the one you really need to undo) won't budge for love nor money!

Hi Tim

Yes they are a bugger to remove.

Best thing to do is to regularly remove and grease them so that they do not corrode.

Unfortunately the only way to get a new removal tool is to buy a new centre cap for £26.

Beware as there seem to be two types the useless recessed design and the alternative with three holes and key with corresponding studs.

I posted some pics for another member who had problems in the LOC Members Gallery.
