Which LC’s come with CarPlay?

Hi all,  

 

Considering an LC500 sometime in the next year, however after looking for forums I’m still not 100% certain which LC’s have apple CarPlay? 
 

From what I’ve seen so far, it seems only possible to get CarPlay on MY21’s, is this right? 
 

An alternative would be using dashboard mounted solutions or perhaps GROM, any suggestions would be appreciated.

Just adding to the above, seems multiple Lexus centres/sources have different answers.

- One said it’s available as a retrofit across all LC’s (2017 onwards) with a sat nav upgrade 

- One said CarPlay isn’t available on any LC’s at all (even brand new LC’s - which we know is wrong but odd that they’re issuing that info to customers)

- Lexus UK on Twitter says MY21’s only have CarPlay and there are no retrofit options on any previous years

I've always understood it's the latter that's true, ie from MY21 onwards only, and no retrofit available in the UK. Will stand corrected if wrong though!

This is my understanding.

My daily has apple Carplay, my LC doesn't. Doesn't really bother me.

This is correct. Retro fit is ONLY us market as I understand if. UK has a different head unit apparently.
