Replacement Shift Knob is300h f sport

Recommended Posts

Looking for a replacement shift knob for my f sport is300h . The current and original one has some wear on the perforated leather piece that I hate looking at 😞 . Has anyone had any experience of buying an aftermarket Copy piece from Ali express or eBay?

I don't sorry but with such a visible piece of kit that's exposed to so much use, I think I would go for an OEM original part.... how much is it?

Expensive. https://lexuspartsdirect.co.uk/product/lexus-is-phase-3-shift-lever-knob/ i reckon this is the regular one not the perforated leather one. Comparatively this looks great for £30

Alternatively consider wrapping it. Might take some time and effort but will be cheap and effective.

Wow 175 quid for a knob.... that's a massive rip-off
Thanks so mu h @steve2006 for those links & p/n ! Amayama is great. I recently bought my lower arm busihings from them and they were half price compared to lexus parts direct. Worth checking Megazip too @Colinb623

Go with Amayama - half the price of LPD

Ive bought loads of parts from Amayama shipped from both Japan and UAE arrive very quick.

Is there any customs to be paid on parts that arrive?

Nope

Not necessarily correct?
I’ve prepaid UK VAT with stuff from Rockauto and some carriers charge an “admin fee” if they have to collect duty.

“Goods ordered from a retailer in a foreign country are only exempt from customs duty if they are worth £135 or less and do not contain alcohol or tobacco. These limits also apply to gifts.”

RockAuto...meh only order from them once and paid the fee

What your saying maybe true but ive never order more than £70 at any given time from Amayama and in the grand scheme of things what he's looking to order is never going to go above £135 anyway. 🤷‍♂️
