Hi all and thanks for looking.

I lost my spare car key some time back, and was looking at the best way to get another.  I've had a quick look online and then thought..... why not ask member of the Lexus Club.

The car is not worth a fortune... 2007 and 180k, but it''s been a solid performer for over 5 years and I am about to get another Lexus as a back up/play car.

Many thanks for any assistance.

Hi Steve... thanks for that.

I do have the one you are referring to.  Seems to be that the cost of the replacement key is about the value of my car😀.

Was wondering if the LOC have any 'places' so as to speak as to where they go to obtain a replacement.

Many thanks.

Hi Tony. Get techstream. You can programme keys with it. Look on YouTube.

If you search for in the 2nd gen IS section of the forum for  What OBD scanner do you folk use. It's my thread and read it and there are a couple links for it. Rough cost 20 sommat quid.
