Hi everyone, has anyone repaired windshields? I have light scratches on mine, quite annoying. and micro stone chip. Prefer not to change the complete windshield as long as if it's possible to repair.

Scratches and chips are one thing, cracks are another. I understand you don't have cracks?

Both Glaco and GtechniQ have good products to light-polish your glass and then apply a protective coating. It is something I'm planning to do in the coming weeks; have not tried them yet. apparently Lexus come with a hydrophobic coating in the glass that would last for some time, so I won't polish mine just yet (just the protection) but yours may have worn out if it's a 2015?

By light polish i mean you can do it by hand in your driveway, not needing machine polish

No, I don't have cracks. I have 2014, not big mileage as well. Share the results when you do your stuff.

Yes, please, I'm also looking for some light glass repair product for my rear window, which has some visible but not too deep scratches.

Maybe a little off topic - I use Glaco rain replant, amazing stuff.

Wash windows, clay bar, dry then apply glaco and buff of when hazed...
Rain just glides off the car really amazing results been a good few months since i applied the stuff.

Aaah! you know I was about to buy a rain repellent recently and also looked at Glaco, was undecided and I ended up with Gtechniq auto G1 but have not applied it yet. Good to know Glaco is that good in case the G1 flops.
A while ago near the Halfords checkout i grabbed a bottle of RainX and haven't used either yet (had no time to look into these things lately), but I have read mixed reviews about that one... Have you tried it?
