wheel alignment

Probably been discussed before but I cannot  find any reference to it. Which is the best machine  for car wheel alignment  and which tyre fitters use this machine?

Living in France but coming over to Surrey this month need two new front tyres and a realignment. Reckon I can save over £200 compared to French prices so it pays for a trip to see the family. Good deal going at National Tyre company in Kingston, wanted to know if there have been any comments on their wheel alignment

Isn't the 'Hunter' wheel alignment machine the most accurate?

Might look at getting mine done when I get new rubber on the back.

Does anybody know if National Tyre Co. use the “Hunter” system?

I suspect it's more down to the skill and care taken by the operator than the actual machine used.

The hunter is a lot more detailed than the usual basic ones, but is more expensive £70-£80 Some places will do an alignment check with a hunter for free.
