Switch off screen on 2010 rx450h? I don't always want the thing on glaring in my face driving at night. Can't see anywhere I can just switch the screen off. Any ideas?

Can't be done as far as I know.

Thanjs. Unbelievable. Quite a few things with this car I'm just finding out that I wished I'd known. I can't find any controls to manually change the screen brightness either. I know there's a day/night setting but is there any thing more?

I seem to recall in my old GS, if you held the power off knob down for a few seconds, it would turn off the display as well. Had quite a few cars, so could be mistaken and it not be the Lexus 😄

I might be imagining it, but I'm sure I've turned my screen off before.

I think there's a "display" button somewhere on screen, which then lets you adjust things like brightness, and has a screen off option.

Can't guarantee my memory is correct though, I'm getting older.

I can turn the screen display off on my 2010 RX450h, click the small 'Disp' button on the centre console, then use the pointer to the Screen Off button.
