Well .... there are a lot of "mac"s here in Ireland (i.e. McCarthy, McDonagh etc)

I'm McAuley known to friends as , yes you guessed "Mac".

Wifes name is Frances .....

Hence FRANMAC ......

I call animals by their kids names, baaarlamb, etc.

Had to register a domain, and rather than go with doggywog, I might have offended someone in america, anal as they are, so went wityh woggledog instead!

About half an hour before I registered at LOC, I had registered on another web forum for chatting about music.

Had tried registering as Rob, Robin, etc., but names were taken. Was listening to Pink Floyd's "Pulse" album, so I thought that would do, but it was also taken, so I added "UK" to the front and hey presto it worked. "UKPulse" was born! B)

A short while later I happened on LOC, tried to register as Rob... taken, immediately UKPulse popped into my head & like a fool I registered with it :duh:

Figured afterwards there wouldn't be a way to change it to something more sensible - not without having to go back and start all over again :( Is there a way...?

I tried feeding 6 names into the system and all had been taken so out of frustration I settled for Brian Berry. There are apparently 2 others on the web one being a Professor in Texas and the other a National Guard / Computer firm owner in Hawaii.

It did however accept my name. Sorry chaps not very original!
