Seems to be an honest review and I mostly agree with everything he said in regards to what he doesn’t like about it apart from the engine part. I had the 4 cylinder engine in my previous hybrid 2013 IS and 2016 GS, both were pretty smooth and kinda felt nicer to drive in city than both v6 engines i had in my 2012 GS and 2016 RX. Not to talk about the fuel economy, much better with the 4 cylinder. Indeed the 4 cyclinder has a different sound than the v6, thinner, I haven’t measured the decibels to see if they are indeed louder but I doubt. For a world that is wanted to be zero emissions by 2050 giving up on the v6 and v8 engines might be start.

I was about to put an order for the new RX but because I couldn’t see one in flash and drive it i preferred not to. The dealer asked me : “what is there not to like about the latest model?” Well i m a bit more traditional so all those touch screens might not be on anyone’s taste. First they are giving us big displays and take the buttons away and next thing you know we won t even have physical displays, i saw some concept cars that only have huge head up displays so the future of cars might be headed that way.

I saw that review on YouTube yesterday... agree with him on the engine... it was the reason I bought one of the last V6 RX460h in October.

Out of the 2023 models the only one that I might have been interested in is the RX500h but it's too expensive.
