Annoying adverts on this website

Is anybody else getting annoying adverts appearing on their screens?I keep getting a Lexus advert film about 1 inch wide appearing on the bottom right of my screen .No matter how many times I press the X,it keeps coming back,like one of those flies that won't go away.

Is there any way of getting fid of these things?I thought Gold membership meant less adverts.

I forgotten how to use internet without ad-blocker... so sadly don't know adds on this site (or any ads to be fair). But where I am leading to - get ad-blocker and you will never look back!

I use Firefox with uBlock Origin and never see any adverts on any websites

Firefox and Brave are 2 fine browsers with built-in great blocking of ads.

I think madame google overrides one's wishes with advert blocking  . I don't know really, all i do know is that my Travel Business spends a few £'000s a month with google to inter alia, infiltrate people's browsings to capture new business ..  and it seems to work ( mostly thankfully ) ✌️

I've used AdBlock for many years and don't get any ads, anywhere, ever...

Thank you all.For some reason they have disappeared completely.

I was only aware of them on my phone.The ad/thumbnail film was around the lower RHS of the screen,where there is a small blue"privacy"settings vertical sign.Perhaps I'd pressed it by mistake.
