NX 2023 delivery date

Our ship has just docked at Portbury 🥳 

Could someone kindly remind me how long we are looking at waiting for delivery to our local dealer from this point?

I know the car has to go to Derby but just wondered how long it will take?

I thought that it was about 2 to 3 weeks.

As mine is similar I will be interested to hear other replies.

Hopefully we get our cars this month 😀😀

Way back in January 22 my NX450H took just under 2 weeks from Portbury to Edinburgh via Derby. Dealer held it until March for latest registration purposes.

So 2-3 weeks should get you behind the wheel unless of course you have specified tow bar fitting etc which can delay despatch from Derby.

Got mine after 3 weeks, 2 weeks ago. It came with paper manual and wheel nut locks supposedly being fitted this coming week.

Just been to see my dealer to try and get everything finalised because hopefully I should get my car second week in September. 
They gave me a new trade in price and to say the least that I am not happy, gone from £32,000 in April to £26,000 now. 
if they can’t improve it by the time the car arrives I will might have to walk away from the deal.

That's a ridiculous reduction in price. Have you tried Motorway or WBAC as that should give you a better idea.

I don't know how long you have been waiting Gary, but it may be worth emailing Lexus UK. Maybe they can organise some sort of goodwill payment to top up the trade in value - worth a try.

Order was placed end of April 2023, the dealer did say that they are going to see what they can do and will let me know by the end of the week. 
They even asked me to phone around and see if I can get a better price.

Can I ask what car your trading in? Such a big drop in price in only a few months?! And how on earth did you only order your Lexus in April this year and are already receiving it? We ordered ours September last year and we won’t be collecting ours for weeks still! Weird but congratulations 🥳

Anyone tried one of these yet - I am sorely tempted as card key may be better than fob in some circumstances.

Deb, this I just bad wording by Lexus, the old app was the same, yes it is on its way to Derby. With luck at your dealer in about 2 weeks from arrival at Portbery

Oh that’s a shame I was really hoping ours had somehow bypassed Derby 😆 

And considering we’ve already been waiting 12 months, 2 weeks some how seems such a long wait 😫 

Waiting is not fun 😠 😊

When I asked to trade in my Volvo XC60 they offered me £23000 so I sold it via Car Wow portal to a Volvo dealership for 30000. Might be worth a look for your Honda. I sold it in a couple of days by the way.

Thing is, when you look up average prices for is make/model, the price Lexus offering him is actually alright! Especially when you consider they have to make some sort of profit.

They don’t take into account that it’s got the extras that are no longer available. 
premium audio and kick sensor and also it’s got 5 year’s service plan and 5 years warranty.

To be fair the old app is saying the same now! And I’ve had an email from Lexus saying the car is at their ‘UK hub’ which I assume is Derby. 

Fingers crossed on the home straight now

I think that may well be true when trading a Lexus/Toyota but was certainly not the case with my Volvo

Looks like the website has changed again. Even though I got a email to say my car is at Lexus UK Hub. Not looking like it is now.

I’m not sure how much you can actually trust the website to be honest? 
So looking at your map, where does it suggest your car is now?
