Hi all, I bought a 2016 Lexus GS300h earlier this year and just did my first oil and filter change. Always hated the idea of paying Lexus £350 for a minor service. It was actually even easier than my previous Lexus CT200h.

I would like to know exactly what the service items are at each interval. Does anyone have such a service list?

I found one for my previous lexus ct200h but can't seem to find any for the GS300h. It is a lot rarer and hence finding DIY details online is proving a lot harder.

If I have this list I can hopefully do most of the work my self and go to Lexus/specialist only for certain things. Such as the break fluid change which requires specialist software.

Any help is much appreciated! Thank you in advance.

Do you not have a service book? That lists the items.

oil/filter every 10k/1 year

pollen filter, brake fluid and rear diff oil every 20k/2 years

air filter every 40k/4 years (inspect every 2 years)

spark plugs every 60k miles.

coolant (engine and hybrid) at 100k miles/10 years then every 60k/6 years.

This is the generic check list that covers all vehicles - the above takes precedence.

Thank you. I though the service book just had the stamps but now that you say it I think that's where I got the detail from for my ct200h.

The car didn't come with a service book but I'll order one online. Thank you for the reply. I will use your service list until the book arrives.

Thanks!

Any Sonic exe help is much appreciated! Thank you in advance.

I used to make some mistakes when I encountered some bad service. I was not happy with them and as a result I had to change to another car with a different brand and better service. You should consider when choosing a service for your cars

You don't need software to change the brake fluid. But you do need to be aware of exactly how to do it - there are things you must not do.

I'd recommend you watch the videos on YouTube by 'Car Care Nut'. One covers a brake fluid change and there are lots more which offer all sorts of insights into how to look after a hybrid Lexus. There are some things which a simple service list doesn't tell you enough about what is needed to do.

Also - get a workshop manual.
