I have a 2010 is250 Cabrio with 34k on the clock. I haven't driven it for a couple of weeks. Yesterday, I found that the Battery was flat so had to use the mechanical key to gain entry. I was certain no lights had been left on in the car - that has happened to me before when the boot was left slightly ajar which flattened the Battery.

I found that the driver's window, which normally closes the extra ½" once the door is closed, wasn't closing because the roof/window seal had become distorted, preventing the window fully closing. This had put a constant drain on the Battery (according to the RAC man).

Presumably, I will have to go to Lexus to get a new seal fitted. Anyone any idea what this is likely to cost?

Hi John,

The weatherstrip on the roof panel over the driver's door would appear to be part No. 62363-53010 and will probably cost in the region of £50 based on an Ex-Japan price of $30.

Fitting should be straightforward.

Double check the part number with Lexus to confirm that this is the part required.

Hope this helps,

Dec.

Hi Dec,

Many thanks for that, very helpful. I'll make enquiries with Lexus Exeter.
