Sat Nav Issues

My lexus rcf 300h sat nav screen has reduced in size, or more appropriately, the lower section of the screen no longer is backlit, although i can still see the map it is very dark. Would an update to the car have caused this?

My car is the 2019 model year.

Doubtful. What update did the car get?

Have you tried a hard reset of the multimedia system? (press and hold the volume button)

Agreed, what you describe seems like a hardware fault not software.

Thanks for the advice, any other issues that could occur when i reset my multimedia system.

Will the warranty on my car cover a hardware fault?

Its a full Lexus warranty.

Yes, if it is still under the 3 year manufacturer warranty.
