Heat resistant glue or Superglue?

To all you handy guys and gals out there. The nozzle on our hairdryer continually falls off. Can I stick it permanently with superglue or should I use a heat resistant glue? And before you follow Mark`s advice, just check that the nozzle you are trying to affix is in fact from the hairdryer and not from the household vacuum cleaner !🤣🤣🤣

I just used standard Gorilla two-part epoxy when the same thing happened to ours and it's been perfect for the last 5 years.

Araldite.

Any two part epoxy (Gorilla, Araldite etc.) will do the job if you want it permanently fixed. Otherwise if you may want to remove it at some point then good old duct tape on the outside would work.

Just come across this. Those  nozzles are a friction fit. There's usually a ring of plastic on the body where the nozzle fits and a recess within the nozzle to accommodate that ring. Check these fixtures first. 

I suggest copious turnings of cotton with a glue so it sets. This cotton just has to add a millimetre to the shaft of the dryer then the nozzle will have a snug fit and still be removable.

It is not a good idea to use either super glue or heat resistant glue to permanently bond the nozzle to your hairdryer. While both types of adhesives may provide a strong bond, they are not designed to withstand the high temperatures and vibration that are present when using a hairdryer. Over time, the adhesive may break down or lose its bonding strength, which could cause the nozzle to fall off again. Additionally, the heat generated by the hairdryer may cause the adhesive to break down, emit fumes, or become brittle, which could compromise the safety of the device. Something like Sugru would probably do it. It's a heat resistant adhesive putty that sets hard.
