I have a 2007 RX400h with a relatively newish Battery that I keep having to charge.

Can any one advise on what is the largest ah Battery I could get for the car.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

You need to find out why the Battery is being discharged.

Being a hybrid the car doesn't require a high capacity Battery as all it does is monitor and activate the entry system and power up the computers.

It depends a lot on how you use the car. Every time it goes flat it loses a bit of capacity so then it becomes a vicious circle.

Are you just using it for short runs and then it stands for a while, or are you doing runs of an hour or more each time so that it has a decent chance at gaining some charge?

If it's your usage pattern that's the problem then getting a trickle charger like the CTEK MXS 5 and keeping that connected will sort it out. On the other hand, if you're using the car normally then it may be a parasitic drain on the system and buying a new Battery won't fix it; the excess current draw will have to be investigated.
