2006 Lexus RX400H water temp alert

2006 Lexus RX400H that is not blowing air (hot or cold) and now there is white smoke coming from under the hood and a water temp alert just popped on the dashboard. What does the alert mean and how do I fix it?

Sounds like a water leak (coolant).

First thing is to check your coolant level and top up if low (don't drive it until the level is correct). Then try and discover where you are losing it - water pump, radiator, split hose etc.
