Why do people put wrong details to sell

Saw this on Face book today and thought what a bargain until I checked the MOT history. 96000 miles!

Well it says 9600 km. Unless it was a garage queen it would have way more than that being a 2003 vehicle, wouldnt be on FB marketplace.

Which all goes to prove its really important to read the small print!

I think the current owner may done 9600km but....did we really need to know that? 🙄

My pet hate is how the wording "full service history " is used when it has only a few stamps in the book !

The SC430 model needs a service every year of its life , so example ..if buying an 18 year old car you’d  expect 18 stamps . 
     The exception might be a service every second year.. if very low mileage and then only in its later life 👍🏻

Looks like an obvious typo. Still, not bad mileage for its age.

My pet hate is independent dealers, who "service" a car before supplying, so it's a got a full book of dealer stamps, and one from a back street garage for just doing an oil change.

I posted on here recently about sc that had 8,100 miles on the clock for £105000 turns out it had done 105000mls and he wanted £8100  for it!! Got my attention though! also there is a car company that give great deal fair deal comments one sc was an sc 15 yrs old with 50,000 miles they commented 5000 mls below average I thought average mileage used to be 8 to 10k per annum?.
