hi, I have started to have a slight issue where the car (is 220d) drives fine then it will slightly stutter as if loses power then pick up again, just for a second, it will do this this a few times.  if I pull over to check, and then start off again all is fine.  it seems to go for half hour / hour fine and then splutters slightly.

Are there any common faults that this could be?

Thanks for any advice in advance

Hi Nick. You have sporadic power loss. It could be fuel related. Possibly dirt pick up from the fuel tank. Do you drive your car mostly with a low tank or over half?

I can only think of this. Maybe fill up with premium fuel and give your car an Italian tune.

I recommend you start using Millers Oils diesel power max additive. It was recommended to me when I first started driving diesels. It works great on diesels. MG ZT diesel I had some years back I bypassed the EGR and ran a dedicated RonBox and the additive and never got less than 50mpg no matter how I drove it. Also I noticed improvement in 2 Ford Mondeos one 2.0 and the flying machine 2.2. It cleans the fuel system and injectors and well worth the money.
