Does ayone actually use it?

To be honest,  only realised it worked when i switched the car into sport mode ..... which probably won't happen often.

In my first RC it only worked in Sport mode. In my second (face lift) RC it worked in all modes.

I quite liked it in Sport mode, added a little to the 'occasion' and went well with the PlayStation like 'gear changes' quite realistic....

My RX doesn't have ASC but it does have a quite gruff V6 😎

Kept it turned off in my IS300h, and pressed the button to turn it off every drive in my GS F.

Simulates the sound of an engine with rising and falling revs, adds to the illusion driving a normal car.

Love it or loathe it, it's switchable, so make your own judgement
