Lexus es250 temperature gauge very cold at the start

Hello everybody, my Lexus es250 temperature gauge very cold at the start of the engine, it goes to middle of the temperature gauge only after 7-10 minutes, what was my problem? Temperature hand on the gauge goes to directly in the middle in the past, now only after 7-10 minutes, Thanks so much

Thermostat stuck open to be substituted.

Isn’t this normal? I tried running with no thermostat in the old days and temp was related to speed!

I would expect if the thermostat was stuck open the car would take ages to get to temp, if at all.

The function of thermostat is to stay closed till  reaching of work temperature in engine...
