Bad weather with hailstorm caused some dents in my upper front right door  trim. You can see in pic.

Any suggestion to fix it, even temporarily ? I asked to vendor and he proposed the substition of piece (non so expensive but neither cheap), but have to wait some days also.

Have someone removed trim to tell me if I could try a DIY repairing?

They are generally just stuck on. You can grab a butter knife or something thin and blunt and peel it back and try to pop it out from the inside but you'll need to buy some good adhesive to make sure it sticks back on properly. Shouldn't put up too much of a fight to get off in this heat, the glue will be all melted. Might as well have a go if you're thinking about getting a new one. If you mess it up, no bother. If you don't, bonus

Thanks ;y main doubt is the way it's fixed, if I am sure that trim is stuck I will get a bi-adhesive tape and will go on with  detaching operation.
