Pistonheads Pub Club gathering in Hampshire

Just thought you f'ers might like to know there is a gathering Tuesday evening 9th August at the West Meon Hut (it's on the intersection of the A272 and the A32. Generally loads of nice cars and people.

Let me know you want to come along and I'll let Dave the organiser know how many to expect.

Never mind there is next month, they generally get to the pub about 6-7 pm so as to get a bit of daylight before it gets dark.

Just for clarity is it the West Meon Pub or the West Meon Hut? According to google maps they are two different buildings.

I'll try to get there around 6:30, maybe a bit earlier.

It's the one on the crossroads between the A272 and A32 you should see a few cars there. The big field is open for the car display. Just checked it seems to be called both.

It was good to meet up with a fellow F'er there should be some photo's released soon of the event so will post them up when they are posted. Also high quality drone footage of the event was taken. Followed an M4 out of the event and made some noise.

Shame that you got stuck behind an M car, did you get a chance to overtake in the end? 😁

It was good to meet you too. Hopefully next months meeting will go ahead as it will be the last summer evening event so probably have a big turnout.

No I didn't overtake him as he was going flat out from the start and I held back a bit before going for it so as not to confuse the sound of thunder from the rasp.

Dave the organiser will have taken some high res drone footage of the event and I noticed it hovering over us for some time so we should have some nice footage of our cars.
