1GFE flat spot / hesitation

Hi there, looking for some advice please.

My altezza/is200 1GFE has developed a flat spot/hesitation around the 2500-3000rpm mark. Ie when accelerating from 50k-60k it’ll hit 3000, stall/dip a little then keep going.

It also feels like when i need to use a bit more pressure on the accelerator to get it going.

Spark plugs, vvti ocv and air filter have recently been changed.

There’s no check engine light.

Any ideas on troubleshooting what it could be please?

It could be related to the ACIS which can open around 3,000 rpm. Check all your vacuum hoses as if you have a split between the ACIS VSV and the actuator you would introduce an air leak when it opens.
