Has anyone experienced an issue with rear tracking ? Took mine to kwikfit for tyres and they couldn't adjust the rear tracking  as the cambolts have seized. Just wondered if anyone had managed to free these as they said I need new lower wishbones?

patience patience and even lots more patience and an appropriate penetrating fluid over a useful time period will undoubtedly free them

Trouble is both KwikFit are in it for the Kwik Fit Fix as are all other adjusting businesses ..........  happened to me some years back with a local Wheel Alignment business and they pronounced I had to have brand new kit at xx'oo's£££ from Lexus ...........  to which i replied that they had better just do the job they're being paid to do, to adjust .  at which they kept the car overnight, used copious quantities of penetrating fluid and woweeee, lo and behold, the next morning I had the call .  all done sir,...  the lubricants had done their job and the adjustments could be made ok .  normal fees charged of course

It's just patience in the end

I recently had my front tracking corrected at local place. One adjustment was seized but chap put a clamp at the end of a cable on it and passed current until it was very hot - reddish- and this freed it off. Seemed to be perfectly normal bit of kit in the tracking bay. Quicker than penetrating oil too.

Find place with this kit?

An “Induction heater” they use electromagnetic energy to produce heat which unlike oxyacetylene is very localised and more controllable greatly reducing the risk of damage and fire.
