Farewell to my IS 300H Fsport

So this week, I bid farewell to my lovely, looked after IS 300H F sport in sonic titanium and now a proud owner of an ES 300H F sport Takumi

Have noticed a few differences.

• Brakes are much better on the ES
• Throttle response and speed much quicker then IS
• It is larger but very spacious inside.
• The 12 inch multimedia display is something.

Overall very happy.

Nice car - enjoy!

Although the ES has slightly less power than the IS, its hybrid system is of a newer generation. This gives you the better trottle response you have already noticed and should also give you better economy.

Yes I think the engine torque which is available @ 3,600 compared with the IS @ 4,200 helps too.

With the IS finished in the UK market, may jump to the ES in the future myself... but i would really love to import would be the IS500 🙄

The F Sport only has 2 options black or red. My IS was black interior, so went for red this time.

0-60 in the IS is actually better than the ES, so I imagine it's just the throttle response that gives the perception of it being faster, but the ES is a slower car than the IS
