12v battery for GS450

Hello,

The 12v Battery seems to be dying on my GS450. Has anyone got a any suggestions for who could fit a new a  Battery other than taking it to a Lexus dealer? Given the number of connections replacing it myself looks a bit too much hassle, makes me miss the simplicity of my old Nissan Micra. The national garage chains won't supply or fit for the 450? I'm near Northampton if anybody can suggest anywhere local.

Failing that, would  anyone know how much Lexus charge to replace the 12V? I had it changed about 6 years ago at Lexus, and think it was about £200

Just Fitted (2 weeks ago a Toyota Battery 2880 YZZZJ as a direct replacement for the Panasonic Battery in my  sons recently acquired 2014 GS450h.  Actually ordered 2880 YZZJA  - recommended in another forum post in this forum but I think that has know been superce3ded.

Dropped in and fitted with no problems;  width OK  the hold down bracket went over  as well

Yes and a lot cheaper than the Lexus one and More Amps

No brainer Just go to toyota with Part num i believe mine was  £ 77 couple of years ago beats 220 for Lexus one Went in just as Keith Mentioned

Hi Roy, compatible batteries should be:

• Varta Blue Dynamic E23 570412063    70 Ah 630A    size (in mm) 261x175x220
• Bosch S4026    70Ah  630A  size   261x175x220
• Yuasa YBX3030 12V  72Ah    630A SMF    size 260x174x225

Double check with the garage/shop you are buying from as these 3 types were mentioned in this forum in another discussion that I cannot find anymore.

The Battery space is exactly the same on GS300h as GS450h, so yes - they will fit.
