If the mesh is black like the mesh on the GS300 Sport(II) try one of the black CD marker pens & cover the chipped section. It works a treat on my mesh & it does not wash off or chip off. :)

Well i did it! The mesh is changed, and is parked in the garage! (Follow the link below)

Next question, how the hell do i change the bit in the bumper? I remember reading that you have to cut the black stuff out, but i can't seem to find the thread anywhere.

Got that one cleared up anyway!

Right, can someone please help me about the bumper mesh? Or at least point me in the direction of the thread it was contained in!

I got my stuff from B&Q! :P

Pete said you can't take the grill out cuz its bonded in, so you'll need to cut it out leaving a lip. get your new grill bend it over, and rivet into place.

I was actually thinking about getting some fibre glass resin type stuff and using that to hold it in place on the lip. I think i saw that in a haynes manual for modifying cars a few years back. It's more about where to cut the grille out thats bugging me, do i cut the entire black bit out, including the edging strip, or just the mesh bit?!?!

Me confoosed!
