Where is the best place (supplier) to get a replacement key from ? I have 2 for my '98 and they both have broken where the blade attaches to the plastic fob containing the 3 buttons.......

Thanks

I have used eBay in the past without any problems

Make sure you buy the correct length key blade

Also ensure a locksmith is willing to cut a blade supplied by you - some do not allow this for fear of damaging their machines

hope this helps

IThe “best” would be from Lexus but at a price.

There are the usual suspects on eBay with Chinese copies which may last a few years.

Also consider a local locksmith who will either have the key in stock or order one for you, they would cut the key ( if allowed) and transplant the electronics.

Also found this company who offer a key cut with picture or code.

Hang on…if the metal blade is intact you can buy the plastic housing and fit the existing metal blade can’t you?

I have found Timpsons do a fair job.

BUT make sure you goto a Timpsons at  Supermarket, they tend t o have their cutters newer meaning the key will fit (I got this from a mate who used to work at Timpsons -as wel las the chap running the Timpsons in Stroud.

Been using my replacement keys now for 5 years, no problem.
