UX roof bars

Just got a UX250h.  Bought some pukka Lexus UX roof bars and have a couple of questions regarding mounting (I got them separately so would be cheeky to ask the dealer).  

The instructions on the bars says tighten to two clicks - the only clicks I can get are when fingers on the tightening wheel hit the top plastic moulding, is this correct?

Also, having difficulty locking the cover - can do it off the car, but not on, any tricks?

When you get to the correct torque the tightening wheel will slip, making a loud click - similar to how the old Toyota/Lexus petrol caps once worked rather than the new ones that click and then spring back. The tightening wheel is small so you have to use quite a lot of force to tighten it enough.

For the cover make sure the bottom is pressed down and in as far as it will go before closing at the top. Again you may need more force that you expect on the key if it isn't quite aligned - if you are having problems with just one lock then make sure it is correctly inserted into the cover.

That is most helpful.  I was expecting a click like you describe.  Will have another play.
