A bizarre problem. Tube of Trebor mints caught behind hinge of lid. Now lid won't fully open.  I don't use the cup holder fitting.

Any ideas on how to remove lid without breaking it will be welcome. Thank you

Use a thin chopstick to dislodge it?

Hi Sabresq,

I've just sent you a PM that will hopefully help you sort it out.

PCM. I used thin tweezers in the first attempt until I realised it was not paper lodged behind the hinge but mints! Subsequently I discovered that like all things Lexus the assembly is bullet proof.

To remove the console and replace the box and lid might produce a hefty bill?

A steamer will help melt the sugar in seconds then a wipe with a dry cloth. Its worth investing in one, makes hard to reach places a doddle to clean without any chemicals and without much elbow grease.
