F Meet?

Morning all,

Some of the old guard on here may remember that I arranged an F Meet almost 4 years ago now in the Peak District only to be unable to go at the last minute when my son arrived 7 weeks premature!

Now that the tearaway is approaching his fourth birthday I can get a day pass a little easier so was thinking about arranging another one day or two day excursion for any F Drivers and/or associated F Fans?

Any interest in this? The UK record stands at about 20 Fs in one place at one time.

Could we beat that now?

I would love that, but I am in Northern Ireland and I am still recovering from some brain damage 😄

I wish we had a meet here, UK/Ireland. Probably could get 4 cars at least.

If it was a bit more middle-ish I would be keen, otherwise its a fair distance to travel, not that I don't enjoy driving the car for that long, just got to get it passed by the Mrs 😛

@NothernDan As you say a while back but Lexus Derby we’re very accommodating as was the Lady Bower Pub…some pics from the past……

@NothernDan Dan Yes it was a great day and all I would say if you are going to organise something is find a venue that will take everybody and all the cars….. no matter the numbers and book it ……take deposits if necessary …..it was how I organised ours down south….some pictures here of North Wales gatherings I organised….

As this will stop the issues of people trying to play catch up …parking ……queuing for food drink and so on….more relaxing more time to chill…..

Nice to see these pictures again @Big Rat Paul.
Lexus Derby were indeed very accommodating. A great meet with lots of F’s, beautiful scenery and fun roads - of which I saw quite a lot having got lost 🙄🤣

@NothernDan shame you missed it having put in all the hard work, but you did have a good excuse 😉

I'd be interested, maybe a trip to Elan valley as it's fairly central...as in equally far for everyone?

After reading the issues from the last meet, I believe walkies and mobile numbers would be essential.

Two way radios for sure! Actually bought some to support the last trip bit they never got to go!! ☹️

Sounds really good, though depends on the format. If it’s a long weekend thing I’d be up for it though if it’s just a day trip, probably too far.

Sounds good to me, I’m up for a weekend of it 👍🏻……. Have got to get over to Spain in August (bank holiday time)……. And again in September BUT September/October time can be adjustable to suit 🤞🏻
