Two keys

Good morning,

will having both keys of the UX in the car while travelling cause some trouble?

Planning a trip and will be carrying both keys of the car with us at the same time, can this be a problem?

Only if you try to leave one key in the car when you go to lock the car.

As above it isn't an issue unless you leave one in the car. If you are concerned or want to leave one in the car (not really advisable) then disable the spare one:

Keep both on your person when locking the car.

We will be carrying the keys, one each, just to have a spare one with us. Will never leave one in the car.

If the lexus is the same as my Niro then you can't lock the car if there is a key in there, I get a loud bleep and it doesn't lock. Brilliant technology.

You could buy a Faraday cage/wallet to put the key in then leave wallet with key in the car.

Always have 2 keys in the car when on holiday. Spare one is turned off and in a Faraday pouch in the wife's bag. Never a problem. At the destination we leave it at the accommodation in case her bag is stolen.

Only ever had one problem, and that was in a 1996 Mercedes C180. We were attempting to board a ferry to Jersey and the car refused to start. Until my wife moved her bag. She'd been leaning on it compressing the buttons whilst I was trying to start with my key.
